Irina Osipova
Irina Osipova – a talented pianist, serious musician, Honored Artist of Russia, has a bright artistic skill. Her performance is characterized by high professional level, strong temperament, great intonational expressiveness.
Irina's play features not only by technical skill, but also full of flowers grown by the pianist's own talent. A passionate impulse is combined with an accurate reasoning and a built-up concept. Therefore no wonder the pianist is a laureate of International M.Long and J.Tibo Competition in Paris (1979,the third Grand Prix) and the First Rachmaninov Competition in Moscow (1983).
Serious attention is attracts her art of accompaning, so, being a Professor of the Moscow Conservatory, she combines pedagogical work in two departments: the Department of Concertmaster Art (the head of the department) and the department of solo pianoforte.
Irina constantly conducts master classes in Russia and abroad, works as a Chairman or a jury member of Russian and international competitions and in 2007 awarded the Medal of the International Union of Music Figures.
Also Irina is a Teacher of "Merzlyakovka" college under the Moscow Conservatory, Honorary Professor of the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Invited professor at the Tambov Music and Pedagogical Rakhmaninov Institute, President of EPTA-Russia, Founder and editor-in-chief of the magazine "Piano".
